Sealed bids for construction of the Sylvan Circle Area Water Main Improvements project were submitted to the Lynnfield Water District on January 22, 2019, and are under review. Residents will be notified before construction begins.
The scope of work includes construction of approximately 1900 linear feet (lf) of new 8-inch ductile iron (DI) water main to replace an existing 6-inch cast iron water main along Laurel Road and Sylvan Circle and associated service connections, hydrants, fittings, and other appurtenances. Temporary by-pass piping will be used throughout the project area.
